8 Bible Verses that Aren’t Completely Weird for Your Wedding
Ok, ok! Maybe that was a little click-baity.
But your wedding is coming up and you’re looking for a sweet piece of Scripture from the Bible to incorporate into your ceremony.
You don’t want to go Genesis (“Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.”) or Ephesians (“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands.”)
So what are some other options? I have handpicked these myself because they have two things in common: love and mutual respect.
Psalm 143:8
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.
Song of Songs 8:6
Place me like a seal over your heart,
like a seal on your arm;
for love is as strong as death,
its jealousy unyielding as the grave.

Ruth 1: 16-17
